Marching Band:
Being in band for all four years of my high school life, I realized that I loved the members in the band more than the activity itself. People that I have met in band have truly turned into family. As I became a senior, I realized that marching band was no longer the same without the lovable seniors that always gave us advice and those who nitpicked on our marching techniques. However, as a senior, you begin to realize what the past band members feel. Band is not merely walking and playing music. Band is lugging 5 pounds of wool on your back as you step in unison with 50 other people under the scorching hot sun. Band is a place where I could feel so enthralled in helping to produce such a beautiful sound of harmonies and rhythms.
