Assignments that stood out to me:
Joy Project:
This project was particularly special because it gave me the opportunity to connect more with my group members . Prior to this assignment, they were like strangers and people that I have not had a chance to connect with yet. The project was significant because it was able to present a lesson that was outside of the academia aspect of school. Life was not only about school and studying, but making real connections with human beings is also important to maintaining joy. This project not only taught me of the different kinds of joy levels there are, but it also taught me of the importance of relationships.

Bullying Project:
This Project is significant because of our ability to make a difference in the world. It felt like this assignment gave us not only a chance to speak of the horrors and effects of bullying, but it also gave us the chance to touch a person’s life and hopefully make a difference in our community. I did not know that bullying was so widespread across the world and the many forms that it may come in. Being able to communicate to the underclassmen about the dangers of bullying is a very rare opportunity and I am glad that I was able to do this through the "bullying project".
